Selling your home can be a very emotional process. Leaving the memories behind as well as the process of all the goes into selling a home.  You need a real estate agent who is going to streamline and simplify the process for you, making the sale of your home a pleasant one.

A Few Quick Steps to Help You With Selling Your Home

Step 1 – Prepare your Home for Sale. Consider having your home Staged or doing it yourself. Less is always more. Ask me for more information.

Step 2 – Home Repairs. Not all upgrades and repairs will pay off. You don’t want to spend a lot of money on improvements but obvious maintenance and issues should be addressed. You may be a good candidate for listing your home “as-is” to avoid major repairs you might not be able to address.

Step 3 – Pricing your home just right is maybe the most important part of selling your home. Have your Realtor run a Comparative Market Analysis for you. Overpriced homes take longer to sell, but you don’t want to be undersold either. Be prepared to lower your price if you do not have any activity.

Step 4 – Of course you want to make a profit on the sale of your home. Have your Realtor evaluate your costs (Realtor fees and other inspection fees) and estimate your pay off amount if you have a lender. This information will help you make a decision when you have an offer.
